Process Overview
Workman Seating is consultative and provides guidance and estimates for a multitude of options for your church to consider. We work closely with you to ensure the final product meets your congregation's needs and vision. Some churches know exactly what they want, while others like options for consideration as it relates to styles and types of pew upholstery. This may include not only fabric selections, but foam thickness for seat padding and even the specific areas of the pews to be padded (seat only, seat and back, or seat, back and back-of-back).
Once an order is placed, it normally takes 4 to 6 weeks before we come on site. Time of completion depends on the size of the church and the complexity of the custom work, but we work hard to ensure that Sunday services will not be interrupted. On site installation is the most common approach to completing a church's renovation project. We can also remove pews for those clients who church building is being extensively renovated. For an additional charge, Workman's can disassemble the pews and take them to an offsite location to be upholstered. We also provide storage for pews in case of renovation delays.
